Parents, can you believe we are starting Thanksgiving week? This year is flying by! In the spirit of this holiday, I would like to start this update by giving some thanks. I am so very thankful for my wonderful students. Thank you, parents, for allowing me to borrow them each day so I can get to know them and learn from them. Thanks also, parents, for all of the help you give each day as you communicate with me, have your children ready for school each day, quiz multiplication facts, listen to your child reading, and much much more. You are the reason for your child's success this year! I am so grateful to have amazing parents and students!

We will be going over a lot of expectations and procedures to ensure our classroom is running smoothly. Please remind your children about the penguin pledge and to always do their best. I will be sending home a Student Council and a Global Student Voice permission form today in the Monday folders. Please read through these forms, complete them, and return them to school tomorrow. Participation is not mandatory for either activity, but the option is open for all students. There will not be a work habit and conduct grade since we are tracking in. A HUGE thank you to the parents that came in on the last day of school to help paint pumpkins. We didn't win the contest, but our pumpkins were adorable. Some may even say they looked good enough to eat. ;) Thank you, parents, for all you do day in and day out to ensure your child gets a good education. I am excited to see everyone back at school today ready to learn! Thanks, Mrs. Farrell |
