I honestly cannot believe we are about to start the last month of school. I was prudent this morning and changed the calendar for June (really because I knew I'd forget at the end of the day). When we sat down for morning meeting, one student asked why there was a Last Day of School label on the calendar. I almost cried telling them we are in the last month! This has been my absolute favorite year of teaching, and I am not excited to see it end. I am excited for the growth I've seen, the memories we've made, and the learning that has occurred (not just by the students) this year. I know I've said this before, but please know I mean it with my whole heart when I say thank you so much for raising such awesome kids. I am not at all ready to send them to fourth grade, although I know I have to. We are going to enjoy as much as we possibly can for the last 20 days of the school year. :)

Hello! I hope everyone had a lovely long weekend. Mr. Farrell, Copper, and I went to Hickory to visit my family to celebrate my sister and brother's birthdays which are both this week. It was a lovely time with family. I hope you were able to enjoy some family time as well.
