Who's ready for a 3-day weekend?! Me for sure! Mr. Farrell and I will be going camping with some friends! I'm excited to get away and unplug for a few days. What are your plans? Let me know if you're doing something fun so I can ask your child all about it! I hope you have a great, safe weekend. Please enjoy the extra time together!
This week was fun learning about integrity and ALL the areas we can show it! Please use this term at home so your child knows you know all about character strengths as well. They are great at doing the right thing even when no one is watching... usually. ;) Running Club information from Coach Edwards: Grades 3-5 running club is getting ready to start and if you want your child to participate please sign them up on the link below or on the school website. What a successful first week back! It honestly doesn't feel like we even left! All of the students were masters at expectations and procedures! We got off to a great start, which makes the transition easier and gives us more time for learning!
After talking about open-mindedness this week, we discovered there are so many times in our days we could practice being open-minded. So next time your child refuses to try a new option at dinner or play a new game they "will probably not like," just remind them to be open-minded. ;) We had some really good discussions!
