We are plugging along! This week had some exciting events, including a Mystery Reader and a window change! (Check Twitter for pictures). We are back into the swing of things! Lots of work to do, and lots of things to learn. I still can't get over how this year is over halfway done. I am not sure I can handle that just yet! :(
Important Dates:
Make Up Days - ALL Saturdays are half days! Instruction will be from 9:15-12:45. I understand that there are previous commitments a lot of times on Saturdays. Family time is important. I get that. Please let me know if you are not planning on sending your child to school on any of these make up days. It helps me with planning activities and lessons. Thanks so much.
What We Are Learning:
Thanks for everything! I have the BEST students and parents! Mrs. Farrell

Happy February!
I hope you all had a lovely track out! I am super excited to get back into a routine! My routine over track out was pretty good, I must admit. It was a balanced amount of sleeping in, cuddling with Copper, reading books, and watching movies. :) There will be quite a bit in this newsletter, so please grab something yummy to eat or drink and read all of it! We have been lucky to be out of school during most of this awful flu season! As always, please remember good coughing, sneezing, and hand-washing hygiene. If your child has the flu please see Wake County's policy: students need to be at home recovering until they are fever free and symptoms free for 24 hours without medicine. We would all LOVE to be here every day, but it is really important to stay healthy and safe. Math Club Volunteers We need volunteers in the mornings and afternoons to help with multiplication fluency! Here is the form! This is a weekly commitment, so we need you to come in (for example) every Tuesday morning or every Thursday afternoon. Let me know if you have questions. Important Dates:
