What We Are Learning:
Upcoming Dates:
New Things: Socktober As the weather begins to turn cold, let’s remember those less fortunate than us. Did you know that socks are the least donated item at most homeless shelters? The LPES Student Council wants to change that! During the entire month of October we will be collecting and participating in SOCKtober. We will be collecting NEW socks in every size. The donations will be sent to those families in our community who need them most as well as a local homeless shelter. There will be a drop off in the main lobby and in Mrs. Noland’s classroom (2209). The Student Council thanks you for thinking of those in need! Thanks for all you do, Mrs. Farrell

What We Are Learning:
Upcoming Dates:
New Things: Mystery Reader: Once a week I am looking for a parent volunteer to come in and read to the class. The parent would send me clues about themselves to share during the week and on Friday when they arrive, the mystery would be revealed! The parent is responsible for sending the clues and choosing a picture book to read. You can bring a book from home, get one from the school library, get one from the public library or borrow one from my classroom. The students will eat snack during that time and you would have 15-20 minutes. If this is something you are interested in, please sign up below! Please note: I will continue these mystery readers all year long, so if you don't get to sign up you can come in to read another time after track out. Link above. Snacks - if you would like to donate snacks to our classroom for when students forget or for students who do not have snacks, please do. The supply in the office has diminished, and snacks will be given out in classrooms if available. Thanks for all you do every single day! Mrs. Farrell What We Are Learning:
